Not able to add products to your trolley?


Have you tried adding products to your trolley without success?

The most likely reason is the Cookie security setting on your computer is set too high for our shopping trolley to operate. Internet Explorer v6.0 prevents certain cookies by default, all previous versions allowed them by default.

Like many other sites, Partybox uses a Cookie (a little file written to your computer) to hold details of your order while you are on the site.

If our site cannot write the Cookie (because it is being stopped from doing so by your computer) then it cannot add products to your trolley.

To place your order you either need to change your computer settings to accept Cookies or you can place your order over the phone by contacting us on 01483 486000.

To change your Cookie settings if you have Microsoft Internet Explorer v5.0
Right click over the Internet explorer button on your desktop OR if your browser is open, select Tools from the top menu bar
THEN
Click Internet options
Click Properties
Click the Security tab
Click the Custom level button
Scroll down till you find the options for Cookies
Check either the enable or prompt option for both cookie options.
Click OK then OK again

To change your Cookie settings if you have Microsoft Internet Explorer v6.0
Right click over the Internet explorer button on your desktop OR if your browser is open, select Tools from the top menu bar
THEN
Click Internet options
Click the Privacy tab
Move the slider down to the High privacy setting
Click the Apply button
Click OK

You should now be able to add products to your trolley
You might need to restart your browser for the changes to take effect.

You can find the version of Microsoft Internet Explorer on your machine by clicking Help in the top menu bar of your open Browser window then About.
