Any excitable Whovians amongst you will no doubt be counting the hours until Saturday evening when the new series of Doctor Who hits our screens. Season 7 promises to be bigger and better than ever, with producer Steven Moffat declaring that every one of the forthcoming 5 episodes will be an epic mini blockbuster.
It certainly looks like the Doctor might well be back with a bang right from the very first episode as he hits the ground running by facing perhaps his his all time biggest nemesis: the dreaded Daleks. I can’t be the only one who remembers watching Doctor Who as a kid from the safety of “behind the sofa” land whenever the dastardly Daleks made an appearance?!
There are bound to be tears as well as fears by the time this season wraps up, as we know that the Doctor will be waving bye bye to his companions Amy and Rory in the fifth and final episode “The Angels take Manhattan.” The fate of the couple has been kept tightly under wraps, but it remains to be seen whether they will walk off into the sunset to enjoy married life together.
