There are only a few weeks now to wait until the final Batman flick hits cinemas and exciting is mounting. Particularly after the release of the latest trailer, which gives us an insight into just what a dark and formidable nemesis Bane will turn out to be.
There has been some intense rumour and speculation across the interwebs that the Caped Crusader may just meet a sticky end at the hands of the bad guy in Dark Knight Rises. That would certainly be a twist to the usual “superhero conquers all” formula generally favoured by the action movie genre.
As fans of the Batman comic book series will be well aware, Bane ends up gravely injuring Batman in a fight. So will the plot of the Dark Knight Rises follow the same storyline, or will it go even further? With director Christopher Nolan at the helm, movie fans should be sure to expect the unexpected when the film hits cinemas on the 20th July.
The film has been rated PG13 so is perhaps a bit on the grown up side for your little Batmen and Batgirls, but there’s no reason why they should miss out on all the fun.
