Sports enthusiasts having fun at an Olympic photo booth event taking place at the Westfield shopping centre near Stratford were delighted to be joined by a surprise visitor: London 2012 ambassador David Beckham.
The sports fans all dressed in patriotic Union Jack attire were invited to have their photos taken to show their support for Team GB, but they hadn’t expected to be given the opportunity to meet have a photo taken with one of England’s most famous footballers. David would pop out on the unsuspecting fans and ask to have a photo taken with them.
One young lad in particular was so overwhelmed at meeting his idol that he ended up in tears. He soon dried his eyes though and posed for some fun snaps with his Mum and his hero. What a fantastic memory to take home with him!
