Red Nose Day starts on the 15th March 2013, one of the biggest fund raising events to help Comic Relief raise money along with many more different fund raising projects. The very first Red Nose Day was held on the 5th February 1988 and since then has started on every 2nd or 3rd Friday in March. Showing on BBC1 early evening this event goes through to the early hours of the morning but the funds still keep rolling in to help much needed charities.
Many people do their own events to raise money for charities for red day including children heading off to school in non uniform, adults and children dressing up for parties and going to work or school, and even people going to the extreme of shaving their heads for this brilliant cause.
If you are holding your own fund raising event for a charity and you need some party supplies or costumes then take a look at Partybox. Many costumes, wigs, accessories and even tableware and balloons. Or why not give your fund raiser or party the finishing touch with a personalised banner so everyone knows your helping a good cause.
